Rosalee has represented families in the Putnam, Mason, Jackson, Cabell and Kanawha areas for 32 years. During that time, she has successfully represented clients on every imaginable type of family law case, from basic divorce and custody modifications to emergency custody matters , hotly contested alimony cases and complicated child custody issues. While she is a zealous advocate for her client, this attorney nevertheless believes that , IF POSSIBLE, domestic matters should be resolved with both sides able to still communicate with each other. This is especially true when there are children involved.
With the drug epidemic leaving more and more children without functional parents, family members and neighbors are often left with children in their care for which they have no legal rights. Thus, Guardianship law has developed to protect these children and the folks involved in their day to day care.
Rosalee has been involved in these cases since they were first granted in Putnam County and has seen the use of this statute grow in the last 5 years to become one of the most frequently filed custody proceedings. Because of her knowledge of the law and of children’s issues, Rosalee is often appointed Guardian Ad Litem to assist the Court in investigating and resolving these often difficult cases.
